About Pathways Learning

Welcome to Pathways Learning, a unique alternative to mainstream education designed specifically for ASC pupils who may feel overwhelmed in traditional school settings due to anxiety. At Pathways Learning, we understand that every child deserves a learning environment where they feel safe, supported, and empowered to thrive.

Our school offers a home-away-from-home atmosphere, with up to 20 pupils in total, ensuring personalised attention and a close-knit community. Our welcoming environment has been thoughtfully designed with ASC learners with anxiety in mind, featuring low visual stimuli and sensory-friendly spaces to create a calm and comfortable atmosphere.

What truly sets Pathways Learning apart is our empathetic and qualified team of ASC teachers who are dedicated to understanding and meeting the unique needs of each student. With their expertise and compassion, they provide tailored support to help students overcome challenges and achieve their full potential. Meet the team >

At Pathways Learning, we believe in empowering students to take ownership of their education. That’s why we offer a range of pathways for students to choose from, starting with themed learning options in the lower years and extending to a variety of qualification paths in later years. Whether students opt for traditional GCSE qualifications or alternative pathways like Agored Cymru, or simply wish to learn for the love of it without pressure, they have the freedom to pursue their interests and goals at their own pace.
