Rachel is an experienced and skilled Occupational Therapist with a wealth of experience across private, statutory and charity settings.
Rachel specialises in working with children and young people, and believes in working in partnership with families, health professionals and educators to support young people to work towards their dreams and goals across education, and home life. Rachel has worked with those who have experienced brain injury, cognitive impairments and have learning challenges, including those associated with Neurodivergences. Assessment and intervention has focused on supporting skill development within education, home, and play and leisure activities. Active in her professional development, Rachel has completed post registration training with the Sensory Integration Network, and having attended training on Positive Behaviour Support Plans, Management of Behaviour that Challenges, and Makaton communication tools, Rachel has strengths and effective skills in working with harder to reach clients.
