Natasha is a newly qualified teacher with a Psychology degree and specialised training in supporting autistic students.
In addition to foundational courses in Child Mental Health, First Aid, and De-escalation Techniques, they have completed training in areas specifically relevant to autism, such as demand avoidance, multisensory learning, sensory overwhelm, and executive function.
They are skilled in strategies like grounding techniques, mindfulness, and “Lego Feelings” for emotional expression, helping students manage anxiety, school avoidance, and social-emotional needs in a supportive, structured classroom environment.
Natasha has recently gained a Diploma in Trauma and Mental Health Informed Schools and Communities (Practitioner Status).
